Just A Preview Of My Work for this Year!!

Yesterday i set out with a camera i borrowed from my teacher, Ms. Moore. Some friends and i came across a bush that was filled with bees. Instead of running away i found inspiration. I originally set out to capture a beautiful shot of a bee perched on a flower performing its job, but instead i found the beauty in this praying mantis.

This was the first time that i ever took a macro shot. I was amazed as i watched him waiting patiently for a bee to fly by him. I captured this picture as he was slowly turning toward his prey. Immediately after this picture he grabbed a bee as quick as lightning! It was by far the most beautiful thing i have ever seen and i believe these pictures enhance the beauty I saw when i became inspired to take this picture. There is such detail on its body and it moves with such careful movements. A picture does, truly, say a thousand words.
